Internationally taught and acclaimed.

Founded in 1985 by composer and early-childhood educator Ken Guilmartin and Dr. Lili Levinowitz, Music Together is now enjoyed by families the world over. Research-based and tested at the program’s Princeton, NJ laboratory school, Music Together is a recognized leader in early childhood music education.

Once recognized solely in the tri-state area as a research-based, grassroots music program for young children and their parents and caregivers, Music Together is now known throughout America and has centers across the globe in Switzerland, Mexico, Japan, and Germany among others.

Music and movement for children birth through kindergarten.

Children attend with parents or caregivers who participate fully in the songs, chants, instrument play, dancing and other activities that give young children the opportunity to develop tonal and rhythmic skills.

Learning through play in an informal setting.

Children participate in developmentally appropriate activities at their own level, and acquire skills at their own pace.

Mixed age groupings

that accommodate children of different ages and different learning styles. Siblings can attend together, and children with special needs can join in, too.

Music Together® is based on the premise that all children are musical and that parents and other primary caregivers play a crucial role in activating their child's musical development. The classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes and movement, and instrument play activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of their own musical ability.
