Of Sailing Ships and the Stars in your Eyes (released on Rainchant Eclectic Records October 18, 2017), Gabriele is taking you onto a journey, sailing foreign grounds, and crossing the bridge through music. The underlying rhythmic pulse of the music presented spans grooves from Brazil, Latin America, Jazz, and India. The featured material is sung in 5 different languages and vocalize. Ms. Tranchina is heard collaborating with top New York musicians, Joe Vincent Tranchina (her husband) on piano, Grammy Award Winner Vince Cherico, on drums, bassist Carlo De Rosa and percussionist Renato Thoms. The textures of the compositions and arrangements range from delicate and soothing to dynamic and groovy, from intricate woven to finely spun.

Fusing a variety of rhythms and languages, A Song of Love’s Color has its emergent roots in the love of our multi-cultural and interconnected world. On this CD the European raised New York based Gabriele Tranchina brings that love, a certain musical sensibility and a multilingual talent to center stage. There are eleven songs sung in six languages and vocalise, presented in a mix of lead and harmonized vocals, RAP, recitation, chant and descant. The vocals are supported and complimented by a colorful variety of World-influenced piano, bass, drums and percussion styles played by like-minded world-class musicians.
